Not in recent memory has there been a time when we have needed more positivity in our lives. But positivity really isn’t it, is it? Just being positive by itself is enough. So, what is?
It’s Optimism!
“That Optimism Guy” Victor Perton and his colleagues Jenny Boymal and Noirin Mosley from Project Optimism will be sharing their expertise and insights on Optimism.
What is the science behind Optimism and why it can make a real difference to both your physical and mental health? The best part is though, if you don’t feel that you’re optimistic, you can learn it!
How? Start with changing some simple habits and then embed them into your daily life.
In addition to Optimism, we will be launching our Melbourne Business Network Awards for 2021. We will revisit our winners from 2020 as well as showcase our award categories and schedule for this year.
And of course, the night wouldn’t be complete without networking. This will be your opportunity to experience what makes the MBN a very unique and Melbourne experience!
This event, held at the Victory Lounge, 416 Collins Street, is complimentary to attend as we are keen to help as many businesses as possible move from respond to recover – or even racing!!
Due to COVID, we will be running a formal check-in process. Please arrive from 5pm so that you have time to collect your name badge, get a refreshment (NB: refreshments are available at bar prices) and meet some great people. And be sure to bring your business cards to place into the draws for our door prizes!! Formalities for the evening will commence from 5:45pm.
With COVID restrictions, the venue has a capacity for 100 guests. As all complimentary events have a significant percentage of “no shows”, we have made more tickets available. HOWEVER, only the first 100 guests will be permitted entrance.
We look forward to seeing you then!!
